Control rooms & operations

Control room design & build
Built around you.

Control room design and build in Johor: video walls, operator consoles, AV/IT infrastructure and system integration for security and wider operations.

Discuss your requirements

THE RIGHT FIT FOR YOUR SITE

A complete space for a clearer operational picture.

We plan the room around the people operating it, the information they need and the decisions they make. Viewing distance, screen layouts, operator positions, power, cooling and network requirements should be considered together. Integration capabilities, building works and maintenance responsibilities are agreed for each project.

Based in Johor Bahru, HTMS primarily serves Johor and also undertakes residential, small-business, commercial and industrial projects nationwide across Malaysia. Scope, site visits and support arrangements are discussed individually for your location.

How we can help

  • Room layout and operator console planning
  • Video walls, displays and source management
  • AV, IT networking and structured cabling
  • Security and operational system integration
  • Installation, commissioning and handover scope

SECURITY & BEYOND

Designed for the way you operate.

The room's purpose determines its design. We establish the sources, workflows and responsibilities before selecting screens or equipment.

Security monitoring rooms

Bring CCTV viewing, access-control information and incident workflows into a coordinated operator environment. Supported integrations are checked against the actual systems.

Facility & industrial operations

Plan an environment for operational dashboards, status displays and team coordination. Data sources, permissions and interfaces must be defined with your technical team.

Multi-purpose command rooms

Discuss shared displays and operator positions for different teams and operating scenarios. Source switching and access permissions should support the intended use.

FROM REQUIREMENTS TO HANDOVER

Build the whole room.
Not just the display.

  1. 01

Define the operation. Identify operators, shifts, information sources, decisions and expansion plans.

  2. 02

Coordinate the design. Plan sightlines, console layout, display readability, AV routing, cabling, power and cooling with the relevant site teams.

  3. 03

Integrate and commission. Agree interfaces, test scenarios, documentation, operator handover and ongoing support responsibilities.

For an initial quotation

  • Location, floor plan and room dimensions
  • Operator numbers and operating hours
  • Cameras, dashboards and other display sources
  • Existing systems and integration requirements
  • Budget range, timeline and site constraints

Room construction, electrical work, cooling, redundancy and support coverage need a defined scope. They are not assumed from the purchase of a video wall.

CONTROL ROOM PLANNING

Useful questions before the build.

Do you build rooms for uses other than CCTV security?

Yes. HTMS provides complete control-room design and build for security and wider operational uses. Tell us which teams will use the room, what they need to display and which systems they must work with.

Can you upgrade an existing control room?

We can discuss a staged upgrade of the layout, consoles, display system and supporting AV/IT infrastructure. Existing equipment and software must be assessed before confirming what can be retained. Any shutdown or migration plan is agreed in the project scope.

Does a control room need a video wall?

Not always. Individual displays, a shared video wall or a combination may suit different workflows. The choice depends on viewing distances, information density, operator count, room dimensions and budget.

Can every camera or dashboard be integrated?

No universal compatibility is assumed. Source formats, software permissions, interfaces and licences must be checked. Safety-critical control functions and operational authority require explicit requirements and specialist coordination where applicable.

BEFORE WE BEGIN

A few useful answers.

What information should I provide for a quotation?

Share your location, premises type, approximate scale, required systems and desired timeline. Photos or drawings can help establish the scope.

Can you help with an existing installation?

We accept maintenance and repair enquiries. Provide the equipment model and issue so we can discuss whether a site assessment is needed.

Do you handle both small and large projects?

Yes. Our existing service scope includes small installations through to commercial and industrial projects. Contact us to discuss your specific requirements.
